Most mediators come from law or HR. Leslie comes from neither.

She spent the early part of her career auditing nonprofits and co-operative organisations — work that built a habit of reading conflict through the financial and governance record underneath it. That same instinct has carried through 15 years of accounting and business operations, and 20 years of nonprofit board and community governance work. She is one of very few credentialed ADR practitioners based in Central Newfoundland, and the only one who brings a combined accounting and governance lens to commercial and organisational disputes.
