Help one party prepare for and conduct their own negotiation. Strategy, positioning, and real-time support. Leslie reads the financial implications of terms most negotiators miss.

Active dispute resolution where Leslie forms a professional view of fair terms and proposes them. Particularly effective in financial and commercial disputes where parties need a trusted third party to show the path forward.

Administering oaths and taking affidavits across Central NL. In-person and travel-to-client options. Volume pricing available for law firms.

Arbitration & Med-Arb
Binding commercial arbitration and hybrid med-arb processes. Awards legally enforceable under the NL Arbitration Act. Planned rates: $200–$300 / hour, $1,600–$2,400 / day.

Workplace Investigation
Formal, documented inquiry into workplace harassment, discrimination, and financial misconduct. Legally defensible reports with findings of fact and recommended remedial measures.

Suitability calls are free. Engaged work is scoped on either a fixed fee or an hourly basis, depending on the matter. Every engagement begins with a written fee confirmation and an engagement letter — the number at the start of the work is the number at the end.

$150–$200 / hour · $700–$1,000 half-day · $1,200–$1,800 full-day · Commercial, workplace, and organisational matters. Preparation and document review scoped in advance.
Negotiation Advisory
$300 / hour · $1,200–$1,800 / day for full-day strategy engagements · Scoped against the matter at the start; minimum engagement applies.
Commissioner for Oaths
$25–$50 per affidavit or statutory declaration · $50 flat travel fee for travel-to-client commission in Central NL · Negotiated rates for law firm volume accounts.
Custom scoping is available for organisational and board mediations, med-conciliation, and cross-border matters. Travel outside Central NL is quoted at cost. Every engagement begins with an honest read on whether your situation is the right fit for Breakwater Resolution in the first place.
